Ramachandran Ottapathu, also known as Ram, is the Founder and Board Chair of BF. Ram has been the Chief Executive Officer of Choppies Enterprises Limited since July 7, 2004 and has been its Executive Director since 2008. Mr. Ottapathu has 26 years’ experience in the retail industry, both in finance and operations and further experience in other industries such as manufacturing, milling and medical distribution. He combines entrepreneurial and commercial acumen with excellent management skills. He joined Choppies Enterprises Limited in 1992 and has been heading the operations since 2000. He is founder of The Far Property Company Limited and has been its Non-Executive Director since July 8, 2010. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Fellow of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
